EMMA ONG
I'm in the Computers & New Media class because I love the humanities & stories! I want to see how new interactive media can enable me to tell stories and express myself in ways I haven't imagined.

A Challenge With the Tools Related to Content Generation / Consumption
I really want to generate / consume content that is similar to the hologram. Fantasy worlds are so cool. While reading about them, seeing them drawn, and seeing them through film is awesome, it would be more immersive to "live" it through a media like the hologram from Star Trek or the false world in the Matrix. On the flip side, I think it would a bit dangerous to introduce to the world because people could very easily become addicted to that media. Right now there aren't tools that I know of to generate something like the hologram and I'd love to learn what people are doing to develop those media / tools.
